About the Author
My name is Paul Saunders.
I come from humble beginnings. I've always been curious and analytical. I coasted through school most of my life without trying and never cared about anything I was learning. My critical thinking skills and logic were always very good, but overall at that stage of life, I was lost, selfish, and foolish.
I hadn't found a topic of interest that really struck me, and I believe that many people suffer from the same problem. If we never find our passion, we never reach our true potential. (I hope that my book can help those of you that still struggle with that issue.)
It wasn't until I learned about the immense inequality in the world that I finally found a topic that I really cared about.
So I began studying economics to learn more about the problem, and it took me down a ten year journey to consume everything that I could on the topic. Day and night I read and listened to podcasts to learn everything that I could. I sacrificed friendships, hobbies, and individual opportunities to pursue this new found passion of mine. Up until that point, I had low energy and no motivation, but every since finding my passion, I've felt invigorated with inspiration.
That journey has led me to this point, where I have completed my first book trying to help solve this problem. Before we as a society can address the cause of this issue, we as indivudals need to be empowered with the skills and knowledge to manage our own money. This first eBook is the best guidance tool on the topics of investing and personal finance that you can buy.
My sympathy for people who have grown up in difficult economic circumstances has only grown stronger with time. My college degree is in economics, but I consider myself a self-taught economic researcher because I have continued to educate myself for almost a decade after recieving my degree, and most of what I've learned was through my own research. I understand money at the individual level and the societal level better than most, and I want to provide solutions to wealth inequality as best as I can.
My next projects will focus on wealth inequality and poverty at the societal level, to help make sure that we all have equal opportunities to succeed. Those are the topics that I have dedicated my life to solving. Feel free to email me at the address below if you have questions, want to learn more, or want to discuss how you can be a part of the solution as well.
Half of the profits from the sales of this eBook will go directly towards 'Effective Altruism' charities that help people in extreme poverty. These are charities that make sure that every dollar is spent in the most efficient and impactful way possible.
